About My Journalism
When I was 15, I published my first story. It was featured in the Georgina Advocate (now archived in York Region News) and promoted an event that my high school music department was putting on. Not only was seeing my picture and name next to an article very exciting and rewarding, but the process was something I enjoyed and felt I excelled at.

Since getting this first byline in 2017, I have furthered my education—I will graduate post-secondary school in May with a Bachelors Degree in English Writing, and minors in Business and History—and expanded by career.

While cultivating a broader palette of familiar topics and styles, I have strengthened several niches such as music, faith, business, and general promotions.

In addition to writing and editing, I have excelled at interviewing and fostering positive and professional relationships with interviewees and people of interest through proper representation, respect, and public speaking abilities. Additionally, I have developed a knack for networking, and my business mindset combined with sharp curiosity has allowed me to successfully generate stories and chase down leads independently through ever expanding channels and industry connections.
